Websites

We really enjoy living in Cornwall, and try to give back whenever possible. A knock on the door and a request some years ago presented us with the opportunity to help in a small way.

St Keyne is a tiny Cornish village between Liskeard and Looe. The village hall is the central hub of the village as it has no shops or pubs.

We created a very simple website for them which we continue to look after without making a profit.

We worked on more local Cornish Parish Council websites in 2018-19 including Duloe Parish Councils website.

The studiogeorge image bank

We know how time consuming it can be getting the right photographs on your website and online publicity material. We are creating a Cornwall image bank in order to help. Over the next months we will be making original web-ready photos available to buy at a reasonable price (for exclusive use).

We also plan to accept custom orders if they are places you need us to photograph for you.

The studiogeorge video bank coming soon

We are planning to create a video bank to compliment the image bank.

We will be working during summer 2020-21 making some films hopefully detailing Cornwall in the sunshine.

Where possible we can make films on request.

Photo Books

We have been busy working on a series of photobooks concentrating on the areas around us in Cornwall.   We have published three to the ISSUU platform and the are available to view for a very small fee.

Education

This is perhaps the area of studiogeorge that has the most potential. Creative director David George BA (Hons) Textiles/Surface Design, is also a qualified secondary school teacher and spent over 15 years teaching digital technology, creative media, film-making and art, in Cornwall schools.

David continues to teach and currently works with adults learners teaching Digital Skills, Photography & image editing for On Course South West in Plymouth, Devon.

Projects

Ali, Harlyn Bay, Cornwall - 28.01.2017

The 'WaterPeople Project' is the idea of Cornwall based photographer / teacher David George.

Working with people who love the water, water people, wave riders, surfers, swimmers and others. The project will create a collection of portrait photographs. Some of which will be published online, the primary intention of the project is to produce a quality printed publication (book). As all photographs will be shot on 120 (6 x 4.5 negative) roll film (black & white) using medium format cameras (Bronica/s ETR & ETRC). The portraits will require more thought, more composition planning, more time, ultimately we believe creating an interesting, exciting & original outcome.

Photographs will be taken immediately post surf / swim, aiming to capture that 'just out of the water' feeling good or bad. Visit the WaterPeopleProject web site click here
